Refunds & AppSumo purchases — which terms apply

Two purchase routes, two rulebooks — here's which is which, plainly:

• Bought on this site (direct plan purchase): our terms of service apply — "Free: $0/mo. Pro: $29/mo. Team: $79/mo. One-click refund within 30 days, no questions asked — your license key is revoked and your payment refunded the same day."
• Bought through AppSumo: AppSumo's standard terms apply to your purchase, including its 60-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are processed by AppSumo on their side. When AppSumo notifies us of a refund, the associated code's license is revoked; for a stacked account the tier steps down by that code's contribution and your other code stays honored. Your watched domains and findings stay on the account — continuous watching continues at whatever tier remains.
